Moving and Grooving Around

Chandler McClain Hooper is 26 weeks old today! Just 14 weeks left to go....It has been so much fun feeling my little man move around. Its really an amazing gift. Everytime he moves I am reminded by God just how blessed I am. He has started moving more and more each day. Normally is has just been one little thump and then another...but today it has been back to back and in more spots at the same time. I am on cloud nine. I think I could just lay around all day and watch my belly move. :)

September 14, 2010

Today your dad and I had our very first doctor’s visit. We were so nervous waiting to go into the room to check on you inside my tummy. When we finally got in there we got to see you for the first time and hear your heart. It was so exciting hearing your little heartbeat so rapidly. Dr. Suiter was really happy too, she said you were about the size of the tip of her finger. She gave us some pictures of you and we got to show them off to our family and friends. You grandparents were ready to tell everyone, but Mom still wanted to keep it a secret for a little while. After our doctor’s appointment we went to eat at Corn Dog 7 with Ma (one of your dad’s favorite places….his Mawpaw use to take him there when he was a little boy).

Today was our second visit to Dr. Suiter. We were still kind of nervous but also anxious at the same time. When we got to see you again you were moving around a little and we could see your head, little arms and legs. We got to bring home more pictures. When we got in the elevator your daddy wanted to take pictures of me holding the pictures of you. This has been of the best days! We are ready to share our wonderful news with everyone. We still don’t know if you are a boy or a girl. We have a feeling you may be a boy…..but we really don’t care we just want you to be healthy.

Today was an awesome day! We got really good pictures of you and you were sucking your little thumb already. Well, that’s what dad said…but mom thought you were saying a little prayer. This doctor’s visit we got to check your little body out for bad things and Dr. Suiter said you looked perfect and was growing up a storm. When we left we were so excited to share our pictures of you to the world. We went straight to Grandma Lisa’s work and gave her a picture; she had to show everyone inside. We get to find out on December the 13^th if you are a little boy or little girl.

Today has been one of the best days in my life. It seemed that it would not get here fast enough. Dr. Suiter looked inside moms belly today and found out that you were a little boy. Mom and dad are so super excited. After we left the doctor we started sending pictures to everyone! Your name has been decided…Chandler McClain Hooper. I hope you love itJ Dad picked out Chandler and mom picked out McClain. Grams and Pops brought over cake and we celebrated our exciting news. Me-May, Mawpaw and Poppa all came to help celebrate and they even brought you some cute little gifts.

Dad got to feel you move! He was so happy and smiling from ear to ear. Mommy has been feeling you for several weeks now and it is the most amazing feeling to feel you inside my tummy. Dad would talk to you and say “Hey Boy” and blow on my tummy and you would kick. This has been a really great day! We love you so much.

Today is Anna Page’s baby shower. So mommy went to celebrate Anna Page. She got so many cute things! I can’t wait for your baby shower. After the shower Me, Dad, Grams, and Aunt Kara went to Tyler to find you a bed. We found one! It is very handsome for a handsome little boy. Grams and Pops bought you your bed and your dresser. It is very nice and can be made into your toddler bed and a big bed. I know you will love it. We got to order it, but we had to wait for 3 days before we could pick it up.

Dad went and picked up your baby bed and dresser today. When mom got home we put it all together. It looks great in your room. I love it!

Screening Ultra Sound and Photos

This was an awesome visit to Dr. Suiter. We got some really cool pictures and an excellent report. She said everything looked really good. The baby was moving around some....I go back early in Novemeber for an OB appointment and then back Decemebr 13th to find out the sex. I can't wait to find out if our little buddle of joy is going to be a boy or girl. Mostly because I'm ready to start decorating the nursery and buying a "few" things. However, it really makes me no diffrence what the gender is, I just want a healthy baby.......I am feeling really good, more energy throughout the day, and sleeping better at night.

12 weeks & 4 days

Today I am 12 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Tomorrow we have our 3rd ultrasound. This is the one where they do all of the screening tests. I am sooo excited and nervous all in one. Can't wait to get this 1st trimester out of the way so I can breathe a little.
